Rental Terms
Welcome to Elevate Rentals.
Before renting any vehicle from our fleet, we ask that all customers review and agree to the terms outlined below. These guidelines help protect both the renter and our vehicles, ensuring a safe, smooth, and professional rental experience.
Age & Requirements
All renters and additional authorized drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
Insurance
If the renter carries full-coverage automobile insurance, that policy may transfer to the rental vehicle. Elevate Rentals will verify insurance coverage prior to confirming the reservation. If insurance cannot be verified or transferred, Elevate Rentals may provide insurance coverage subject to the terms of our rental agreement.
In the event of any accident, loss, or damage to the vehicle regardless of fault the renter is financially responsible for costs up to the vehicle’s current fair market value, minus salvage value, if applicable, as well as all related towing, recovery, storage, impound, administrative fees, and reasonable loss-of-use charges. If theft occurs, renter responsibility shall not exceed the vehicle’s fair market value if it is determined that the renter or any authorized driver failed to exercise reasonable care or contributed to the theft.
Driver's License
A valid driver’s license issued by the renter’s state of residence must be presented at the time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental term.
Payment Methods
Elevate Rentals accepts credit cards, debit cards, Cash App, and Zelle for all rentals and deposits.
Rental Duration
Rental charges are calculated in 24-hour increments. A one-hour grace period is granted on return. After the grace period expires, a late fee of $30 per hour may be assessed.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of $150 to $300 is due at the time of rental. Deposits are refunded within 1–4 business days following vehicle return, pending inspection for damage, unauthorized use, smoke odor, cleanliness, and timeliness.
Deposit may be forfeited if any of the following occur:
• Vehicle is smoked in
• Vehicle is impounded for any reason
• Vehicle is driven by an unauthorized person
• Vehicle is not returned on time or to the correct location
• Vehicle is returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear
Mileage and Geographic restrictions
All Elevate Rentals vehicles come with unlimited mileage for in-state driving only.
No out-of-state travel is permitted without prior written authorization from Elevate Rentals. Violating this restriction may result in deposit forfeiture, additional fees, and immediate termination of the rental agreement.
Tolls,tickets& violations
The renter is fully responsible for all tolls, parking violations, traffic tickets, photo enforcement citations, and any related fines or penalties incurred during the rental period. Failure to pay may result in additional administrative fees and deduction from the security deposit.
Additional drivers
Additional authorized drivers may be added at the time of rental. All drivers must be present, meet age and license requirements, and sign the rental agreement. The fee for additional authorized drivers is $15 per day per driver.
Smoking Policy
All Elevate Rentals vehicles are strictly non-smoking. Smoking in any vehicle will result in full deposit forfeiture and may incur additional cleaning or ozone treatment fees.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled rental start time. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a minimum charge of one day’s rental rate plus taxes and applicable fees.
